OH~~~I Have Many...

I thought that I have many many things to do!! I have to homework, study travel consultant and English and part-time job. I want to play and shopping!!! I've thought sophomore is easier than freshman, buuut it's not! I was wrong. It's very hard for me. I feel depressed now, so I want to be fine and happy.

BR1-04:The Nutcracker

I read this story in my childhood, so I forgot the story. The story is very fantastic and exciting adventure. It's like a fairyland.
The main character Clara is a little girl and her adventure began on Christmas Eve. Clara loves her godfather because something magical always happened when he was around. And he gave her a special present. It was a magic doll, Nutcracker! The tag with the present said " I hope this protect you...". What does it mean? I thought.
That night, when Clara woke up, everything was big. She was shrinking!! And Nutcracker Prince talked to her. It's surprising that dolls talks like a human being. Soon lid of the toy box flew open and a long line of toy soldiers marched out and make war with mice and Mouse King. The mice and King Mouse were plotting to kidnap Clara, but Nutcracker and his soldier protect her. He is very cool! After that, Prince led Clara to a forest covered with crisp white snow and met Ice Queen. The queen led them to her icy palace and they enjoyed the ballerinas twirled. Then they went to the land of sweet which huge marzipan castle was decorated with all kinds of treats. There were many kind of treat in the palace and many dancers from around the world performed for Clara. It's very interesting and I became wanted to go to the land! When Clara woke up, she changed her original size and her doll lay beside her.
I think her godfather knew the Nutcracker Prince protect her from evil mice and maybe a nightmare. It's very fantastic and I hope to have dream that I go to the Land of Sweet and watching to many dances tonight. I felt happy when I read the story.

BR1-03:Wizard OF Oz

I know this story because I played this when I was a kindergarten pupil. My role was Wizard of Oz! But the form was like a rabbit. It's very funny. I acted out of nostalgia when I read it.
The main character, Dorothy lives in a small house in Kansas, USA, there are no witches or wizards. One day, a cyclone came to Kansas very fast and the house moved and then it went slowly up into the sky!! Dorothy and her dog Toto went up to the top of the cyclone. When Dorothy opened her eyes, there are unknown place and there were a little old woman and three very short man. They said "Thank you, you killed the bad Witch of the East! We are all free!!" The Dorothy's house fell on the witch. Dorothy wear the bad witch's magic shoos and go to the Wizard of Oz to ask him for help. Dorothy and Toto met a scarecrow in the yellow brick road. He wanted to have some brains so decided to go with Dorothy to ask Wizard of Oz. Next they met Tin man which wanted to have a heart because he have no heart, so he go with Dorothy. Then they met Cowardly Lion which wanted to be brave, so he decided to go with Dorothy. They venture and finally reach Wizard 's house witch is all green. But.. How terrible!! Wizard of Oz was a old man! He is human and can't use magic! But he said " Scarecrow, you don't need brains. you understand things, you can think, you learn quickly. You're very clever!" " Tim Man, you don't need a heart, you laugh, you cry, you love, you feel sorry for people!" "Lion, you are brave, you do a lot of brave things!"
I think that is very important to believe myself. If I believe myself, I can become everything I want and I can do everything. It's difficult to cultivate self-confidence but if you believe yourself, you gain them. I think they have things they wanted from beginning. I learned many things from the story.

Ru Oshiba

Wednesday, I saw ルー大柴（Ru Oshiba）because there were a lecture meeting of him in KGU. Did you see him? He is very funny and with a sparkling personality. He always talks with a little bit English. He looks happy and he is high-strung! He is a hit with his stock gags such as " 藪からstick". This means that "An unforeseen event". And he talks about his early background. There was an unfortunate early background that calls for compassion because his girl friend dead in his youth. But he didn't give up his dream that to become an actor. I respect him!
So let's practice Ru language, and memorize vocabulary!!

A Course For A Certified Travel Consultant

I take a course of a certified travel consultant every Saturday from 1 to 5. There are about 40~50 people in the class and everyone study enthusiastic. I want to obtain the qualification, so I have to study hard. There are many dificult laws and geography, so I have to learning by heart many many things. I don't feel mental anguish beacause I like traveling. I decided to ask teacher of the course questions when I can't undrerstand a problems. I think it's very important to solve the problem as soon as possible. I'll try to do my best!!

I'm Sleepy zzz...

Today, I was so sleepy because I was sit up late doing homeworks yesterday and the day before yesterday. I do part time job about four or five times a week and the time when I return home is always 11 o'clock so I have a little time to do homework. But I'll try to do my best.
Today's speaking class was very fun for me! We did role playing. The topic conversation is very interesting! There are Karen and Masashi and they are the first meeting with each other. Every student were like a actor or actress! They studied how to play the role of Karen and Masashi.
I watched a movie "Finding Nimo" just then. It was so interesting and I feel emotion. Nimo is very cute and Dorry is playful fish. I like her very much because she is always positive and funny and happy!! I want to be like her. It was so fantastic movie and I love it!!

Watching "ENCHANTED"

I watched a movie ''Enchanted" yesterday. I love Disney movie and animation so I was looking forward to watching it. The story was very fairy and fantastic so I felt happy when I watched it. A princess Giselle who lives in a fairylandmarry with prince Edward. But a cruel witch Malissa evicted Giselle to New York!! Giselle became lost with wedding dress on. Then Robert who is lawyer found her by chance and helped. Prince Edward rushed to the actual world to help her but he can't. Princess Giselle fall in love with Robert who lives the actual world so she gradually became disoriented.I love this story because it using many songs, dancing and comedy. It's like Disney Land!!I enjoyed watching it!

BR1-02:Pocahontas

I know this story by disney animation. In 1607 the English came to Virginia, in North America. There were hundred and fifty men. They wanted to begin a new life in there, so they built a town. Indian people live Virginia for a long years. Virginia was very beautiful. There were blue sky, rivers, flowers, forest of tall trees. It's there country and their only home. So they don't like white men. Pocahontas is thirteen years old girl and live in there. She is a daughter of king Powhatan and beautiful. One day, she fall in love with one of the English man, John Smith who has blue eyes. But indian people and English are can't understand each other. Indian people wants to guns so they demand them from English, but it's too dangerous to give guns for English. Therefore John Smith didn't permit to give guns to indians. That broke up their friendship. After that, John Smith got serious ill, so he got back his his country. Pocahontas was sad and she thought he was dead.
After long time, Pocahontas got married with other English man, and she went to England. Finally, she met John. He alived!! And she was very surprised at that.
But it's time over because each went their own way.

The story is tragic and I thought impatient. There are the two problem, one is a differences of human race and culture between English and Indian.
This is a sad love story.

Hello! My name is Nozomi A., and I live in Kumamoto, Japan. I am very happy that I will be visiting you for a home stay starting in the summer. Thanks very much for agreeing to be agreeing to be my hosts.

First of all I'd like to introduce myself and my family. I'm nineteen years old and a KGU student. My major is British and American English. In addition to this, I study Spanish and Korean and cross-cultural communication. I like to communicate with people.

My hobby is playing the piano, watching movies, listening o music and shopping. I do part-time job in a soba restaurant four times a week.

There are four in my family. My father is a public servant, my mother has a sales agent and sales underwear, cosmetics, towel and so on. my younger sister is a high school student. My family likes watching movies, so almost every Sunday morning, we watch movies while having breakfast. It's a happy time for me! What do you usually do on weekends? Are there any rules in your family?

I really wish to visit your country and share the same time experiences with you in English. I'll tell you about Japanese culture and custom and I'll play Japanese music on the piano if you like!
